MECH Modelling Challenge

To fix/join a meehanical based model image which is cut randonly. Details: In Mechofix. you have to understand about how a particular model image looks. Based on this you have to think how to join cut images to achieve the final model image. Mechofix will test your ability to make you think how a particular mechanical based model looks.

Rules and Regulations:
  • Participants should carry their college IDs, INSIGNIA IDs, event coupon.
  • 2. Every participant must carry a valid ID card of their respective college.
  • 3. Individual participation, to participate in this event, he/she must register for the event by paying Rs 200/- per participant.
  • 4. Any participant who is not ready at the time specified will be disqualified from the competition automatically.
  • 5. For elimination rounds, participants have to appear for screening. Each participant will be given one sheet containing drawing and final modelled part.
  • 6. The participants should model the parts by using choice of applications provided only.
  • 7. The organizers reserve all rights to disqualify any participant for usage of unfair means.
  • 8. The decision of the judges will be final and binding in any circumstance. Arguments on their decision won’t be entertained and violation of rules may lead to disqualification.

Competition Structure:

1.  The event consists of 3 rounds.

2.The difficulty level will increase by each round.

3. Elimination Round 1: The participants which clear screening will proceed to next round. The participants have to complete modelling of simple part drawing in the given time and are selected for the second round.

4. Elimination Round 2: The difficulty level of drawing will be increased. The participants have to complete a modelling of given drawing in given time and are selected for the Final round.

5. Final Round: The participants have to do simple CAD Model assembly of given drawing in specified time period. The complete CAD- model with accuracy and fast will be the winners of this event.

NOTE: Any changes in the rules will be announced during the start of event.
